For this Charles Schwab commercial I supervised the CGI and compositing teams. This spot was modeled in Maya and then point clouds were generated via a script I wrote with IDs for the different geometry. The simulations were then done in Softimage using a ICE tree. Then a point cloud generated from Softimage was brought back into Maya for geometry instancing to render. This allowed for a work flow independent of geometry, making it easy to switch from high poly to low poly geometry or vice versa.
